The Marketing class just finished a segment on “Marketing Yourself”. Before beginning, each student took the Gallup Strengths Test, which helped them gain a better understanding of their soft skills. After that, Karly Black from the Extension Office talked about the meaning of their Gallup strength results. Then the Students prepared a resume, a cover letter and a reference sheet. Many volunteers from different types of occupations Took time out of their busy schedule to take part by interviewing the students. The morning was a big success! Thanks to all those who contributed!

Our freshman did a great job at the Explore It Career Fair at SCC Beatrice sponsored by the Department of Labor! They talked to potential employers, learned how to make a good first impression in an interview and also got a tour of campus! PC alum Carly (Hunzeker) Sommerhalder also shared valuable information with our students. Some of our students even won some door prizes!
