The SCC dual credit Intro to Psychology class took a trip to St. Joe, MO to visit the Glore Psychiatric Museum! The museum was set up like a timeline; students were able to explore different mental health treatment methods and how they have advanced over time. We also learned about stress and how it impacts the body. We even made our own stress sensory tool!

Sunday Speech Showcase is this weekend at 2:00pm at the high school. Through competitive speech, students practice resilience, integrity, professionalism, feedback analysis, and so much more. This activity prepares them to be competent, confident, and skilled communicators. And--most importantly--it's fun! We would love to see you at this free event supporting these students with one final audience opportunity before their district meet!

What a turnout for the SENCA food pantry project! This week, we had a total of 1,400 items donated! With the final calculations complete, the kindergarten class is the winner! They worked as a team and brought in over 450 items! Thirds grade was in a close second! We are so thankful to all our families, students and community members who have donated!

Wow, Pawnee City! Thank you for your support for the SENCA food drive project! With Wednesday and Thursday's donations combined, over 400 items were brought to school! After the count, third grade is still in the lead, but take a look at kindergarten's progress! Tomorrow is the last day and the theme is Fresh Start Friday, so we are looking for hygiene items like deodorant, shampoo or toothpaste! We appreciate all the support from our students, families and community members!
