Today's games at Lewiston will be played as scheduled. JH girls at 3:30 followed by JV boys around 5:00. Varsity games to follow JV boys. Travel conditions have improved but please travel with care.

School TODAY, Tuesday 1/23/24 CANCELED. Surfaces other than main highways are very icy, and don't seem likely to be safe in time for school. Information on activities will be communicated to affected families.


There will be a 2 Hr. Late Start TODAY, Tuesday 1/23/24 due to rains turning into ice on surfaces. Will continue to monitor as the morning progresses to see if it will be safe for school later this morning.


Congratulations to these 10 students on a wonderful day of rehearsal &
performance at Sing Around Nebraska at the Fremont site! These students have been preparing the music since last fall. Special thanks to Mrs. Veleba for chaperoning and driving them on this bitterly cold day!

School today, Friday 1/19/24 CANCELLED. Overnight drifting has shut in several more spots on east/west roads. Info for Friday and weekend activities will be communicated to affected families when thier status decisions are made. Say warm and safe!

Thank you to Carmen Rottinghaus for being our guest for Lunch and Learn! Carmen shared with our students about her career as a physical therapist, the education involved and what a typical day is like. Carmen's advice to our students is to be a life long learner!


Kindergarten read rhythms and played rhythm sticks in music this morning. They did great!

The MUDECAS Conference has decided to CANCEL the remainder of the 2023-2024 Basketball Tournament due to unsafe weather conditions and not enough days remaining to finish the tournament.


Updated Mudecas Brackets. PC boys play tomorrow (Saturday) at Beatrice Middle School at 3:30. We are working with Southern to attempt to reschedule the girls consolation game and will post more information once it is available.



MUDECAS BB games for today, Friday 1/12/24 are postponed. Please watch the school's app and social media for updated brackets and/or playing times.


School is CANCELLED tomorrow, Friday 1/12/24 due to forecast for snow and near blizzard conditions, along with extremely low windchills. No decision has been made yet regarding MUDECAS BB.


Food Truck results from Mrs. Lori Gyhra's Marketing students: Staff members ranked overall look, feel, and display, taking into consideration the mission statement, menu design logo, slogan and color scheme. Staff pick was Trey Marteney & Tyler Tegtmeier's Mac Truck. Tied for 2nd place were Drew Menninga & Garrett Duryea's Burrito Bus and Wyatt Blank & Norman McHenry's Bustin Bombers truck. Coming in 3rd was Cael Johnson & Quinn Friedly's Bakers Heaven truck. Staff members were also able to vote for their favorite Look/Feel/Display, Favorite Food and Best Overall Color Scheme/Decor. The winners in those categories were: Look/Feel/Display = Wyatt and Norman Favorite Food = Drew and Garrett Best Overall Color Scheme/Decor = Trey and Tyler The high school and elementary students voted as well for the best food truck, with Wyatt and Norman's Busting Bombers winning by a landslide by all students with a patriotic theme and the slogan "Big enough to feed an army." Nice job marketing students!


School tomorrow 1/10/24 CANCELLED due to road conditions. Maintainers have been unable to get to many of the roads, which will take at least another day. MUDECAS Basketball remains scheduled for tomorrow. This is the updated bracket:
