
PC Speech team placed 4th at the Diller Odell meet on Saturday. Great day with many personal and performance goals met. Next up is Weeping Water on Monday.



Freshmen speech class students continued with their demonstration speeches today. We've seen demonstrations for making trail mix, wrestling pins, cat care, decorating cupcakes, making sandwiches, and changing a dirtbike's oil. These kids have so many different talents!

The elementary can participate in fun activities to celebrate the joy of reading.


Congratulations to boys basketball on their win against Deshler. PC plays in the subdistrict finals on Thursday against Johnson Brock at 6:30 pm in Johnson.


Hayden and Dawson took an opportunity to visit to SCC Milford for Careers in Transportation Day! They were able to operate machinery and participated in many hands on activities!









Third grade artists finished sculpting their clay chickens this last week. They are now waiting for the projects to dry and be fired in the kiln. Stay tuned for their finished projects.

FFA District Welding was yesterday and our PC team qualified for state! Norman was runner-up in TIG welding, Will finished 4th in Oxy-Acetylene welding, Wyatt 9th in MIG welding, and Hayden finished 11th in Arc welding. Way to go!

Thank you to Jennifer Stehlik-Ladman of Stehlik Law Office for being our guest speaker for Lunch and Learn! Jennifer shared great information and insight. She encouraged each of the students to get involved in all the opportunities and activities available!


Stop by on Saturday for a little or a lot of our PC Caffeine Classic speech meet.
Rounds start at 9 and events are spread out all over the school in different rooms. Speakers will speak twice and then scores are tabulated for a final round. Come see their hard work!

The third grade class is continuing to learn all about teamwork in their SEL lessons! We learned that we are so much stronger when we all work together! The students identified their support system such as parents, grandparents, friends and teachers. When our whole support system is behind us, they can hold us up!


Mr. Robertson and the new Blacksmith class class students are working to develop their foundational blacksmithing skills!

Boys basketball plays on Feb 20th at 7:45 pm in Johnson for subdistricts. Games will be streamed by Johnson Brock on Hudl or Striv.

Parents, Tomorrow 2/12/24 is a scheduled staff professional development day, and there is no school for students. (There IS school next Monday 2/19. This was a typo in the Feb/March newsletter master calendar.)

Fourth grade artists have been working with chalk pastes, oil pastels, and paint to create landscapes featuring the Northern Lights.











PC Speech team competed at the Conference meet yesterday at FCSH. For most, it was their first meet of the season. Individual medalists were Kailey Hartman-4th in Extemporaneous; Luke Hunzeker-6th in Humorous; and Madolyn Gottula, Emma Meints, Cara Pierce, Abby Dietrich, and Cameron Ottersberg-4th in OID.
Thanks to Sacred Heart for hosting a well-run meet! The team travels to Auburn on Saturday for their next competition.

Jase Brumbaugh, a member of our elementary leadership team did a great job leading the first grade class in a lesson about being respectful! Good work, Jase!
