We took a road trip across three different states to visit Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, MO and Highland Community College in Highland, KS! Did you know that Missouri Western is home to the summer training camp of the KC Chiefs and Highland has a campus in Baileyville? So many great opportunities for our students!

The sixth grade members of our middle school leadership team had the opportunity to participate in the Student Leadership Academy hosted by ESU 4! Students were able to self reflect on their own leadership skills and they started to identify areas to grow in the school/community and ways to make those changes!

Northwest Missouri State University was first on the list for college visits this year! NWMSU offers many scholarships to students and a computer and textbooks are included in tuition costs. Lots of opportunities!
