We took a road trip across three different states to visit Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, MO and Highland Community College in Highland, KS! Did you know that Missouri Western is home to the summer training camp of the KC Chiefs and Highland has a campus in Baileyville?
So many great opportunities for our students!





Today in Intro to Business with Mrs. Lori Gyhra, the eighth graders played a game on Gimkit to study financial management. They LOVE learning this way!

New last spring semester, students have been able to enroll in a blacksmithing class with Mr. Robertson. Students are enjoying learning the elements of blacksmithing, and we are proud to have this course offering!




The elementary had their first PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) pep rally last week. Mrs. Pierce reviewed expectations for in the restroom and at recess. Great job elementary students!





6th graders received awards for August grades that include "No Late or Missing Work", "Passing Grades on All Assignments", and "A/B Grades in All Classes".


Pawnee County Memorial Hospital will be offering a flu shot clinic again this year on October 3rd. Paper copies of the forms will be going home with students at the end of the month, or you can see them on our website here: https://tinyurl.com/4aewdndk


Mrs. Sholty's high school art students worked on posters for the Volley for Autism game. Join us tomorrow (9/10) for the games!






FFA and National Honor Society both had their fall highway cleanups today. Some students worked both! These groups continue to make our community PC proud.

Here's a peek at our youngest learners! 2nd, 1st, Pre-K, and Kinder were all hard at work. Kinder wore mustaches for the letter M!

Today was the first Annual Farmer John Day. Everyone was asked to dress up in farming clothes to help show appreciation to all of the farmers out there working hard every day.

The sixth grade members of our middle school leadership team had the opportunity to participate in the Student Leadership Academy hosted by ESU 4! Students were able to self reflect on their own leadership skills and they started to identify areas to grow in the school/community and ways to make those changes!

Northwest Missouri State University was first on the list for college visits this year! NWMSU offers many scholarships to students and a computer and textbooks are included in tuition costs. Lots of opportunities!
