The speech team has had a busy month. On March 3, 2025, at Weeping Water, Kailey Hartman got 2nd in Extemporaneous, and Tyler Tegtmeier, Neveah Blecha, Larkyn Vleck, Cara Pierce, and Cael Johnson got 4th place in Oral Interpretation of Drama (OID).

On March 8, 2025, at Fairbury, Kailey Hartman placed first in Champs Extemporaneous, Layla Featherkile in Champs Poetry, and Haylee Plager placed in Next-in Program Oral Interpretation (POI). Cara Pierce placed next-in Persuasive, Madolyn Gottula and Anna Meints placed 6th in Champs Duet, and Tyler Tegtmeier and Cael Johnson placed first in Next-in Duet. Kaitlyn Svoboda, Madolyn Gottula, Cameron Ottersberg, Abby Dietrich, and Anna Meints placed third in Champs OID, and Tyler Tegtmeier, Larkyn Vlcek, Cara Pierce, Cael Johnson, and Neveah Blecha-4th in Champs OID.

The Pawnee City Speech coach, Mrs. Bloss, said her highlights of this week were seeing Haylee Plager place in POI, Kailey Hartman winning first in Extemporaneous and seeing the improvements in the OID, Wonka, performed by Anna Meints, Madolyn Gottula, Kaitlyn Svoboda, Cameron Ottersberg, and Abby Dietrich. 

On March 16, 2025, the school hosted a “Sunday Funday” for the speech kids to perform to parents and townspeople. Everyone on the 2025 speech team performed.
