On February 26, the speech team attends the Pioneer Conference Meet in Humboldt, where they won the championship trophy! When Mrs. Laura Bloss was asked how the kids did, she said, “Kailey Hartman got 1st in Extemporaneous and 5th in Persuasive, Larkyn Vlcek got 3rd in Humorous, Madolyn Gottula got 6th in POI, and Kaitlyn Svoboda got 3rd in Entertainment, while Anna Meints got 3rd in Informative.”
Mrs. Bloss continued, “Cael Johnson and Tyler Tegtmeier got 3rd in Duet; Madolyn Gottula and Anna Meints got 4th in Duet; Cara Pierce, Tyler Tegtmeier, Cael Johnson, Neveah Blecha, Larkyn Vlcek got 4th in OID; and Kaitlyn Svoboda, Cameron Ottersberg, Anna Meints, Madolyn Gottula, Abby Dietrich got 5th in OID.”
The next speech meet will be on March 8 at Fairbury.
