On Saturday, February 22, the Pawnee City Speech team hosts a home meet called the Caffeine Classic. 19 teams showed up, making it the biggest speech meet of the season so far!
When asked about the results for the day, Mrs. Bloss said, ”Larkyn Vlcek placed 4th in Next-In Humorous; Larkyn Vlcek, Tyler Tegtmeier, Cael Johnson, Neveah Blecha, Cara Pierce got 6th in OID; Tyler Tegtmeier and Cael Johnson placed 4th in Next-In Duet; Neveah Blecha placed 5th in Impromptu Speaking; and Kaitlyn Svoboda, Cameron Ottersberg, Madolyn Gottula, Anna Meints, and Abby Dietrich placed 1st in Next-In OID.”
The speech team competed at Pioneer Conference on February 26 at HTRS, and will travel to Diller-Odell on Saturday, March 1. Good luck!
