During basketball season, the student council helps to raise money for a PC student's medical and travel expenses. The students were successful with several fundraisers such as Chuck-the-Duck, bake sales, and running concession stands at home basketball games against FCSH, EMF, and Axtell.
Senior Adrian de Koning came up with the idea to fundraise. When asked if the student council has any other events planned to fundraise at, she replied, “Right now, we do not have any more scheduled but we may do more in the future.”
Student Council sponsor, Tim Kluck, added, “We’re appreciative of the generous people of our community who worked with us and donated to help raise funds for our student!”
