On Tuesday, February 11, the varsity boys basketball team plays their Parent/Senior Night game against Axtell, Kansas at home. They ended the game in overtime with a loss of 57-61.
Jett Farwell led the team with 27 points, followed by Anthony Kling with 17, Atreyu Kling with 4, and Drew Menninga, Tyler Tegtmeier, and Jordan Wernimont who all scored 3.
When asked about the game, Drew said, “As a team, we could do a better job of limiting our fouls.”
Anthony added, “We could've come out a little stronger at halftime, the highlight of the game was going to overtime.”
The boys fought very hard and most spectators enjoyed watching the game despite it being a loss. They play again on Friday, February 21 against Southern at Wymore.
