On February 5, Pawnee City students attend a college visit to SCC in Milford. Some programs that SCC Milford offers are Accounting, Automotive Technology, and Agriculture Management and Production.
When Luke Hunzeker was asked about the visit, he said, “I liked that there were many hands-on stations to simulate the John Deere Tech Program. The beginning of the day was very slow as we were sitting and learning about curriculums. The dorms were nice apartments styled with four separate rooms. I thought the dorms were pretty nice.”
Norman McHenry added, “I liked that we got to see a lot of different equipment. I didn’t like the fact the lunch wasn't very good, but the dorms were pretty nice and fancy.” When asked if they wanted to attend SCC Milford, both said they are interested.
The next college visit will be on March 6 at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln.
