On Friday, January 31, the junior varsity girls go against the Exeter-Milligan/Friend Bobcats in Pawnee City. The Indians won with a score of 18-11. Ericca Gyhra led the team in scoring with 6 points, followed by Haylee Plager and Breonna Gyhra with 5 points each, and Taelyn Blecha, who scored 2 points.
Kailey Hartman commented about the game, “As a team, I think we played very well. We rebounded great and worked on offense to move the ball around to get shots up. One thing we could improve on is making our layups and reducing turnovers.”
Their final game this season is against the Axtell Eagles on February 11. Good luck!
