On Tuesday, January 28, the JV boys basketball team competes against Lewiston at Pawnee City. The Indians won with a score of 22-7. The top scorer was Jordan Wernimont with 10 points, followed by Dawson Wilkinson with 5 points and Payton Rose with 4.
When Braydon Frakes was asked how he thought the game went, he said, “We passed better and we took better shots.” He went on to say, ”We could work on how to do that from the start. We could pass and get open shots at the start, and we can work on our shots and make them."
Justin Baehr added, “We did well on defense, but we could work on doing the plays right.”
The boys’ next game will be on Tuesday, February 11 at home against Axtell, KS.
