On Saturday, January 25, seven students travel to Fairbury to participate in the Singing Youth of Nebraska. When Mrs. Dieckgrafe was asked about the event, she said, “Singing Youth of Nebraska is a chance for students in grades 7-9 to participate in a mass choir with other students from around the state. This year, students auditioned with me to attend. Every other year, students have to send an audition in to the organizers to be selected.“
When asked what their favorite song was, Ava Schlund and Tiffany Sampont said "Dies Irae." When asked what she could have done better, Ava said, “I think that I could have worked on pronunciation more.”
