On January 7, the varsity girls basketball team plays against Weeping Water at home. Pawnee City lost 32-45; Kinsley Benson was the lead scorer with a total of 9 points.
When asked about the game, Ericca Gyhra said, “I think I did well coming off the bench, doing what I was supposed to do. As a team, we did well on scoring and working hard on defense to keep the game close.” She went on to say, “I want to work on fast breaks and being able to rely on other people to bring the ball down the court instead of just one main player.”
