On January 7, the Pawnee City boys varsity goes up against Weeping Water. The boys won the game with a score of 60 - 47. Leading the team in scoring were Jett Farwell, Anthony Kling, and Drew Menninga, all with 17 points, followed by Jordan Wernimont with 5 points and Atreyu Kling with 4.
When asked what the team could work on and what they did well, Coach Sejkora replied, “It was good that we were able to get a win against Weeping Water. They played a defense that we haven't seen before and our team did a good job of adjusting to it and finding ways to score. We must continue to work on playing good defense and not letting teams hang around when we get a lead.”
