On December 10, Pawnee City junior varsity boys face Tri-County at home. Unfortunately, the boys lost with a score of 19-28. Payton Rose led the team in scoring with eight points, followed by Jordan Wernimont with seven, and Cael Johnson and Dawson Wilkinson with two points each.
When asked how the team could improve and something they did well, Mr. Sejkora replied, “We are getting better at rebounding, which has been an emphasis for us these first few games. We didn't shoot the ball well from three, so next time out, we need to be ready to shoot with confidence."
The Indians will play again on December 17 in Nebraska City against Lourdes Central Catholic.
