On November 26, the junior high boys basketball team plays against JCC at home. The boy's A-team unfortunately lost with a score of 30-19, and the B-team also lost 16-3. When Coach Timothy Kluck was asked what the team could improve on, he commented, “We were weak mentally, and as soon as JCC went up by about 15 points, we shut down until the second half. When we shut down like that, we make many careless mistakes, throw the ball away, and don't play tough defense. We'll end up much closer if we can stay composed and stay in the game mentally through the tricky bits."
When players were asked about something the team could work on, Maverick Glathar said they need to work on getting the ball down low into the paint.
The next game is against Diller-Odell on December 9th at Odell. Good luck, Indians!
