On Thursday, October 24, the 5-12 bands and 6-12 choirs perform on their Fall Concert. When asked which was their favorite song of the concert, students’ top-voted song was "Double Trouble." Jason Cumley replied, “I liked how 'Double Trouble' was Harry Potter-themed.”
"Phantom of the Opera" was the next favorite. Cara Pierce said, “I liked the 'Phantom of the Opera' because it was something new and different.” Other students also commented that they thought it sounded the best of all the songs.
Lastly, "I Lived" was another favorite. Tiffany Sampont commented, “My favorite was the last one, 'I Lived,' because it sounded very nice, especially towards the end.”
Laura Dieckgrafe, the choir director, said, “I did enjoy the concert. It was fun to flip [the order of] the bands and choirs. The songs for choir were a fun variety, and I was proud of the choir's performance. I felt like the boys section stepped up with some absences from their section.”
