On Friday, Oct 18 the Pawnee City Indians fight against Diller-Odell in their last home game. The Indians won the game with a crazy score of 75-7. Jett Farwell led the team with 5 touchdowns, and Anthony Kling, Cael Johnson, and Trey Kling followed behind with 1 touchdown each.
When asked about the improvement of the team this season, Mr. Brumbaugh responded, “I would say the team has improved throughout the season. Our younger players have gained more experience and, because of that, have grown more confident. So, when they are on the field, they perform very well. We are no longer a couple of individuals doing very well but a true team playing great together. I think that is what makes this team so much fun to watch. They are very unselfish and only want to see each other do great things.’
The boys are undefeated as of now with a record of 7-0 and will play again Friday, Oct. 25 at Red Cloud.
