The high school football team plays Lewiston on Friday, October 4, for their Homecoming game. When asked what the team did well, Jesse McLaughlin stated, “I think the whole team played very well last night. The defense especially played well. Keeping them to 0 the whole game was a nice achievement for the season but it's still not the end. The offense played well for the night, often scoring within a few plays on the drive. It was definitely a good night to work on fundamentals.”
When Coach Brumbaugh was asked what the team did well, he said, “I thought we played well on both sides of the ball. It’s always a good night when the defense can keep the other team from scoring.“
Pawnee City beat Lewiston with a score of 61-0. Let’s go Pawnee City football boys!
