On September 26, the middle and high school runners compete at the Falls City cross-country meet. All of our runners ran the fastest they have so far this season! Our fastest of the junior high girls was Aubrey Sisco, with a time of 9:11, placing 3rd. Then came Tiffany Sampont at 10:40, Ainsley Rauner at 11:49, and Emily Koster just two seconds behind her.
Cade Johnson and Kolbrin Farwell competed that day. Cade ran 8:41 and Kolbrin ran 9:51. This was the last middle school meet of the season. Sixth grader Brody Smith had the opportunity to run because this meet was a "Fun Run." He ran a time of 12:39.
High schooler Larkyn Vlcek also ran in Falls City with a time of 29:53. Thursday, October 10, will be the last regular season high school meet at Camp Kateri in McCool Junction.
