On Monday, September 30 the junior high football team goes up against the Sterling Jets in a home game. The Indians won the game with a crushing score of 51-18. Ryan Plager led the team in touchdowns scoring five touchdowns, with Liam Glathar right behind him scoring three touchdowns and three 1-point conversions.
When Coach Amundson was asked about the game, he replied, “Offensively, I think the boys played well and did a lot of good things. Defensively, they are starting to understand what their jobs are and executing those jobs. One thing the team can do better is keeping their effort high and consistent throughout the game.”
The next game is Tuesday, Oct 8 against Weeping Water, and it's their last home game.
