On October 1, the varsity volleyball team plays Lourdes Central Catholic (LCC) and Lewiston in a triangular in Pawnee City. When asked what the team did well, Coach Jordan Amundson replied, ”The girls did a great job of playing our style of volleyball and competing in both games. They came out of both games with a lot of focus and energy.” Something she said they will be working on is finishing games so they can come out of the more difficult games with a win.
Coach Kacie Gyhra said she felt the girls played more aggressively and she thought that the defense was very good.
The girls won the first set against LCC with a score of 25-18, lost the second set 18-25, and then lost the third set 21-25. When playing against Lewiston they won both sets! The score of the first set was 25-18 and the second set was 25-11.
