On Monday, September 30, the junior varsity boys go against the Sterling Jets at Pawnee City. In the first half, Cael Johnson scored 5 touchdowns, Dawson Wilkinson scored 2 touchdowns, and Tyler Tegtmeier and Dylan Layne each scored one touchdown. The Indians won with a score of 57-0.
When asked about the game, Justin Baehr stated, “I think I played awesome. I got important blocks.”
Coach Brumbaugh commented on the game, “The boys did a great job of running the offense very well. They all did a great job no matter who was on the field.” When asked about things that need to be fixed before next season, Coach said, “Defensively we will need to become more assignment sound. Sometimes we forget where to line up or what our job entails. Those are things that will come with more practice and experience.”
