The junior varsity volleyball team plays HTRS at Pawnee City on September 23. When asked what the team did well, Head Coach Kacie Gyhra said, “The communication was great and they played aggressive and confident. When we serve aggressively and pass exceptionally well on both serve receive and defense, we can be a tough team to beat.”
Coach Jordan Amundson said, “Our girls came out with lots of energy and excitement and played well together. They looked like they had fun and worked hard to finish the job. They passed well and were aggressive at the net! It was exciting for our team to get a win!”
When asked what the team could improve on, Kailey Hartman said, “I do think that we need to improve on our serving consistency because we missed several serves.”
JV won the first set 25-13, the second set 25-16, and the third set 25-19. They played a fourth set for fun and lost with a score of 27-25. Congrats to our JV girls!
The girls will play one more game at home against JCC on October 3.
