Students of Pawnee City Schools visit Missouri Western State University and Highland Community College on September 11. When the students were asked about their likes and dislikes about Missouri Western, Denielle Gyhra stated, “I liked it because it is the Kansas City Chiefs training camp, but I also heard that they have one of the best Broadcasting programs. I didn't like that it was old school, and I got the feeling that this was not where I wanted to go to college. I have already crossed Missouri Western State off my list.”

Mrs. Blecha commented on Highland, “It offers a variety of programs! MoWest is known for the nursing and business programs. They are also the summer training camp of the KC Chiefs! Highland offers a variety of classes, it is a great place for students to receive their gen eds at a reduced cost. Highland also has numerous campuses, there is one right across the border in Baileyville, KS!”

The next out-of-state college visit is to K-State on October 9.
