On Tuesday, September 17, the sophomore class attends the SCC College fair in Beatrice, NE. The sophomore class got to walk around from table to table, being informed about each college. 39 different colleges were attending, some two-year and some four-years, along with five military branch recruiters. Three of the sophomores who responded to questions about the college fair said they didn't find what they were looking for.
According to Mrs. Lisa Blecha, “Students had about 30-45 minutes to walk around. It goes fast! Many of these colleges are coming to our Apply2College Day on October 17. We have been going for several years, at least for the last 3.”
