On Friday, September 20, the football boys play against Hampton on their home field. Jett Farwell scored seven touchdowns and had 282 rushing yards. Cael Johnson scored one touchdown, and Anthony Kling had 10 conversion points. The Indians beat the Hawks with a score of 59-6.
When asked what the team did well, Jesse McLaughlin responded, “Overall we played pretty well that night. We were physical and played to our strengths. The offense was spectacular, leaving no chance for Hampton to respond. In the first half, though, we became pretty tired in talking about the defense. Besides that, I thought we played well, only allowing them to score 6 points in the whole game.”
Their next game is against Lewiston on Homecoming night, October 4.
