Sixth-grade students attend the leadership academy in Auburn on September 4. They attended the academy to help acclimate them to the high school building. When asked what the sixth-grade students are learning, Mrs. Lisa Blecha stated, “They started the event by identifying their own strengths and weaknesses and how it relates to their leadership skills. In the afternoon, the students brainstormed possible issues that they might want to solve and started to develop plans of how to solve those issues.”
The sixth graders will attend the academy several more times this year.
