On September 10, 2024, the Pawnee City volleyball team continued their tradition of hosting an annual Autism Awareness game. The girls played to raise money for the autism fund here at Pawnee City, and the gym was decorated with the help of Pawnee City students.
The team fought hard but ultimately lost in three sets against Johnson-Brock. According to the coaches, the girls controlled what they could and gave lots of effort. When Coach Amundson was asked what the girls needed to work on, she replied, “I'm hoping that we can become more aggressive altogether and put ourselves in a position where other teams have to beat us, and we don't beat ourselves.”
Good luck for the rest of the season girls!
