The Indian football team battles against Meridian on Thursday, August 29 in their first home game of the season. The game was finished on Friday, August 30 due to the weather delay Thursday night. Jett Farwell scored 5 touchdowns and Dylan Layne scored 3 against the Mustangs, and they won with a score of 57-6. Jett Farwell, Jesse McLaughlin, and coach Scott Brumbaugh agreed that the team did well on defense.
When asked what the team could do better, Coach Brumbaugh said, “The team focus is to keep improving each week. We need to make sure we line up correctly all the time and are in the correct place, it helps when running the offense or the defense.”
The boys will play again at home on September 20 against Hampton.
