Pawnee City welcomes Nicole Hoffman as our new kindergarten teacher. When asked what got her into teaching, she stated, “For as long as I can remember I wanted to be a teacher. I used to force my younger sisters to play 'school' with me. It is a ton of fun to work with elementary students and though there are tough days, I cannot imagine doing anything else.”
Mrs. Hoffman attended UNK for her Bachelor's Degree and then attended Peru State College for her Masters. She commented on why she came to Pawnee City, “I grew up just south of Table Rock, and recently, the opportunity came up to move 'back home' to the farm. My husband and I just couldn't pass it up. I love being back home and raising our family out in the country.“
