The Pawnee City Band braves the heat to march in the Johnson County Fair parade Sunday, August 20, in Tecumseh. Led by Senior Drum Major Kennadi Benson, band members in grades 7-12 marched to the song Smoke on the Water. The route took them from the courthouse to the fairgrounds. After the parade, students stayed to eat supper and ride rides.
The marching band will participate in the Richardson County Fair parade this year on Friday, September 15 in Humboldt.
