The Pawnee City Indians start their season with a win at Friend against St. Edwards on Friday, August 18. Leading the team in their 56-12 win was Anthony Kling with 30 points, followed by Jett Farwell with 18, Jesse McLaughlin with 6, and Trey Marteney with the 2-point safety.
Defensively, Jett led the team in tackles with 12 and Trey with 10. Trey also had three solo sacks and one that was assisted by Jesse. Jett had one interception, and Trey caused one fumble.
The Indians’ next game will be played at Franklin on Friday, September 1 at 7 p.m.
