Community Service
At the start of the 2021-2022 school year, community service was added to the graduation requirements at Pawnee City.
2023 Graduates - 10 community service hours prior to graduation
2024 Graduates and beyond - 20 community service hours prior to graduation
**Up to half of the required community service hours can be done for a school sponsored group or organization. If the project is done for a school sponsored group or organization, it will still need to be pre-approved.
These are not yearly requirements, just a cumulative amount prior to graduation. The projects will need to be pre-approved through the school counselor, Lisa Blecha.
Here are some resources to help with the planning of the community service hours.
