The junior high Indians face off against the Lewiston Tigers on Wednesday, September 23, their first home game. The B-team was defeated in two sets. The first set was 8 to 25, and the second was 18 to 25.
Carmyn Fetherkile said she did well serving and trying to get the ball, even though she might not have gotten it every time. The team did well at cheering each other on and being supportive. She said the team needs to improve on talking, getting the ball, and not getting down on themselves.
Aubree Marr said, “One thing I did well was calling the ball. The team did well at going for the ball and cheering each other on. I need to improve at hitting the ball using the three-step approach.”
Their next game is on Saturday, October 3, at the Southern Invitational.
