On Aug 25, 2026, the high school volleyball team plays in a jamboree between Weeping Water and College View Academy. This was also the first game with a new coach, Jessica Tomek!
The Indians lost the first set 19-25, then won the second 25-22 against Weeping Water. Pawnee City won both sets against College View 25-17 and 25-15.
Ainsley Rauner, a sophomore, said the second game of the season was a “great start to the year.”
When asked what Coach Jess hopes to achieve this year, she replied, “I want to make sure I bring out the best in the girls, and they can play up to their potential.” She added, “We were all really working together really well, and I’m excited for the bench to be a huge part of the team this season, like they were during the Jamboree! It really makes a huge difference to have the bench engaged on the sidelines and cheering!”
